Capesthorne Hall has been the family home of the Bromley-Davenports since 1726. The current Squire of the Hall is Sir William Arthur Bromley-Davenport. He was Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire, the Queen's chief representative in the county, from 1990 until March 7th 2010. His wife is Lady Elizabeth Watts, an American painter.
The Estate is managed by Nick Bromley Davenport who was appointed as Cheshire’s High Sheriff in 2007 during which time he successfully promoted his Youth High Sheriff’s Citizenship Award that aimed to help overcome youngsters getting a bad reputation by highlighting the many good things they do for others.
Capesthorne Pavilion, Cheshire's premier wedding and event venue, is managed by Vicki Thompson who is the point of contact for enquiries and bookings including weddings, private parties, corporate conferences, wedding fayres and automotive events. She is very helpful and will recommend reliable suppliers and oversee events on the day they take place.
